This is a noticeable trend. The city comes by and slaps a warning notice on the door that the house is in violation of the city's rules. The notices from the city, bank and trustee are all lending to the mess at this property.
I have complained to the local county officials about this property and they have sent letters to this lender but the lender has not yet cleaned up this property.
This home has been sitting like this for 1.5 years. The bank won't do anything about it. Our HOA won't do anything about it. The dude across the street has started using it to store his toys.
Derelict, vacant property, strong debris field, apparent bad foreclosure, doors open, no lawn maintenance, property taxes not paid for 2008. 1 year later and lender has not started reforeclosure.
House had fire on Jan 26, 2009. It does not appear to have any repairs, yard full of trash, dangerous items such as weight equipment, rubber tires, washing machine, sharp tools, and broken glass. Three windows are boarded up, back door is broken open and roof appears to be somewhat collapsed. Confirmed with the city of St. Clair Shores, MI that the house is foreclosed. Neighbors have expressed safety concerns as there are many children living in the surrounding homes. This house is an extreme hazard.
The property is in poor condition. Dead grass, untrimmed shrubbery, dead shrubbery, etc. In addition, the owner has been notified by the HOA to remove the boulder rocks from landscape beds as they are not an approved border.
This two-story, corner house has been abandoned and used as a garbage dump site for one year. Property door has been torn off leaving it open to the public.
